再エネポテンシャル （Renewable energy potential）

再エネポテンシャルとは

Refers to the potential for the introduction of renewable energy. It is the total amount of energy, excluding that which is difficult to use with current technology and that does not meet various contractual factors (land use, laws and regulations, construction, etc.).

再生可能エネルギーの導入可能性のことです。全資源エネルギー量から、「現状の技術水準では利用が困難なものと、種々の成約要因（土地用途、法令、施工など）を満たさないもの」を除いたものです。

環境省では、再エネポテンシャルについて、各種統計情報をもとにわかりやすく情報を提供しています。地方公共団体や事業者が、地域における再生可能エネルギーの導入に向けた見通しや計画を立案する際などに活用できます。
